NBM can provide the operational capability needed to reach, support and return from remote field locations, including programs in which participating organizations bring their own environmental or subject-matter experts.
Route and trip planning, participant coordination, trained drivers, appropriate field vehicles, equipment transport, communications and return transportation for qualifying environmental, conservation, educational, scientific, stewardship and land-management activities.
On-site operational support can include communications, portable power and charging, equipment storage, field tables, meals or catering, sanitation planning and other logistical systems appropriate to the location and program.
When a location or project cannot reasonably be completed in a single day, NBM can coordinate remote overnight field support, including sleeping arrangements, meals, communications and logistical support needed to sustain the field activity safely.
NBM does not need to provide the subject-matter experts for every program. Agencies, conservation organizations, educators, researchers, land managers, community groups and other partners may bring their own specialists while NBM coordinates the field-access and logistical infrastructure that allows the work to happen on location.
